I’ve updated my booking process to make sure every new guest gets the best possible experience and a clear plan before we start.

All new guests will begin with one of the following:

• In-person extension consultation
• Digital color consultation form

This allows me to review your hair, your goals, and make sure I’m the right fit for what you’re looking for.

Once your form is submitted, I review and respond with next steps.

Do you ever get anxiety when you’re heading somewhere new, your gps tells you that you’ve arrived and you look around like “I HAVE?!?! ARE YOU SURE?!?!”

When I was looking for a new space, parking was a non negotiable for me.

The front of our building is on State St, you will see the sign for 268 State St.
Turn onto Wingate Ct (directly off of state st, along the side of the building) and to the left, you will see the large parking lot behind our building.

Once you’re parked, look for the large business sign, and the ramp leading into the building’s waiting area.

Let’s talk about something a lot of people are doing at home that’s secretly damaging their hair...

The aggressive towel scrub.

Wet hair is hair in its most fragile state. When you rub your hair back and forth with a towel, you’re basically roughing up the cuticle and creating tangles before you even touch a brush.

Instead: squeeze with your towel, and detangle gently.

Your hair doesn’t need to be punished after a shower 😘

Clean flip-up → grow-out → finished result.

Balanced weight, clean sections, and an install that grows out comfortably.

Cut hair → Become hair → Lint roll yourself → Repeat forever.

Honestly though? Wouldn’t change a thing. 🖤✂️

Not every head of hair needs the same size bond.

Factory keratin bond extensions typically come in standard bond sizes designed to work for a wide range of hair types.

Do I sometimes use them in factory sizes for certain people? Absolutely.
But also, natural hair density varies a lot from person to person.

Someone with very fine hair may need smaller bonds so the natural hair can comfortably support the extension.

Someone with thicker density may need slightly larger bonds to maintain balance and longevity.

That’s why I often create custom keratin bonds.

Custom bond creation allows me to adjust:
• bond size
• weight distribution
• how much extension hair is attached to each natural hair section
•blend colors seamlessly

The goal is simple:
Every bond should match what your natural hair can comfortably support.

This helps keep installs lightweight, balanced, and healthier long-term.

Most people expect extension bonds to look perfectly straight and uniform.

But hair doesn’t grow perfectly straight and uniform.

Every person has natural growth patterns. Areas where the hair shifts direction, lays flatter, or moves slightly to one side.

When I install keratin bond extensions, I work with those natural growth patterns instead of forcing every bond to sit in the same direction.

That can sometimes make a bond look slightly angled or “less perfect” visually.

But that’s actually what keeps extensions comfortable and healthy.

Forcing bonds against the natural fall of the hair can create tension on the scalp, discomfort, and unnecessary stress on the natural hair.

Healthy installs prioritize:
• natural growth patterns
• balanced placement
• comfortable movement

Extensions should move with your hair, not pull against it.

Clean partings.
No crosshairs.
Beads that flip comfortably & lay flat.
We want to feel secure. Not too tight.

Once stitched in, the wefts completely cover the beadwork.
That’s what makes it a seamless hidden bead row.

But here’s another part people miss:

Everyone’s sections will look a little different.
Because every head is different.
Density, texture, growth patterns, even scalp shape all change how a row should be built.

Do I have sturdy af beadwork in my arsenal that doesn’t flip? I sure do. I think it’s important to have options.

What works perfectly on one person might not work at all on someone else.

That’s what keeps installs comfortable and healthy long term.
